A 69 word story for your reading pleasure
A while back, I saw a post on another blog challenging people to write a 69 word story. Here's what I came up with...

His Kiss

Isaac stopped kissing me and then I heard the click. Cold steel pressed against my temple as I thought about the gun.

“Tell me why I shouldn’t pull the trigger.”

I thought about my life. Searched for a reason, any reason why I didn’t deserve to die.

“Well?”

“Because you loved me once.”

“That’s not good enough.”

I closed my eyes.

He said, “Goodbye.”

I thought about his kiss.
